Georgia FBLA - What We Do!

During 2011 - 2012 NHS FBLA will be participating in several Georgia FBLA events!  We invite you to the Georgia FBLA Fall Motivational Rally, Georgia State Fair, in Perry, Georgia in October of 2011.  You will have the opportunity to hear what Georgia FBLA is all about, the yearly events, projects, competitive events, and activities you can look forward to participating in throughout the 2011 - 2012 year.  Then, along with 7000 other Georgia FBLA members you will be extremely motivated by a inspirational motivational speaker!  He/she will raise our excitement to the highest levels.  Lunch is next on the agenda.  Munch out on the Georgia State Fair "goodies" while you spend the afternoon riding the extreme rides.  It's called FUN!!!  In November of 2011 join us at the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia for the Georgia FBLA Fall Leadership Conference.  This one night stay over is a perfect time to network, meet new friends from across Georgia (the ones you met at the Georgia State Fair), improve your business knowledge and skills, and have FUN!  Next up is the Georgia FBLA Region Leadership Conference in January of 2012 (location to be determined).  Region Leadership Conference is always exciting because we find out which of our members have WON in their competitive events.  You need to choose and start preparing for Competitive Events NOW if you want a chance to be a WINNER!  Just come by and see an NHS FBLA advisor NOW (Mr. O, Ms. Lary, Ms. Brown, Coach Fortson, or Coach Grant).  In March of 2012 we head to the big "A", thats Atlanta for you newbies, for a two night stay at the Hyatt Regency in downtown.  We'll be there to attend the Georgia FBLA State Leadership Conterence which offers your best opportunities to network, socialize with friends, learn leadership skills, participate in breakout sessions, WIN competitive events, and have lots of FUN!  If you WIN your competitive event at Georgia FBLA State Leadership Conference, then in July of 2012 you'll have the opportunity to participate in the "pinnacle" event of FBLA, the FBLA National Leadership Conference (city to be determined)!  WIN this opporutinity and you will have the distinction of being the FIRST Newton High School Future Business Leader of America member to attend the National Leadership Conference.  WOW!  Check out what you will be missing!  Hopefully, after participating in in all these events you will have a desire to prepare to be a NHS FBLA Chapter Officer in 2012 - 2013 by attending the Summer Leadership Officer Training Session (SLOTS), a one day session held in July of 2012.   Return to Top
